How to Set Up Webhooks for WordPress

Connect your WordPress site to Podcasty so new posts automatically generate podcast episodes.

Works with self-hosted WordPress and WordPress.com (Business or Commerce plan).

Install the WP Webhooks Plugin

In WP Admin, go to Plugins → Add New. Search for "WP Webhooks" (by Ironikus / Cozmoslabs). Install and activate it.

Add a Post Updated Webhook

Go to WP Webhooks → Send Data → Post Updated. Click Add Webhook URL and paste this URL:

https://api.podcasty.fm/webhooks/content/YOUR_SITE_ID?secret=YOUR_SECRET

Set Data Format to JSON

Under Settings for the webhook, set the data format to JSON.

Publish a Test Post

Publish a test post and check your Podcasty dashboard for the new episode. It usually takes 1–2 minutes to generate.
